MIRROR DOT / HOLE OBJECTS
Since 2O14
The mirror dots are multiple mirror surfaces over several layers. The different layers create overlaps, which then produce endless reflections across several levels, and thus forms a multidimensionality that disrupts with our three-dimensional perception. The work creates text and image subjects in which the viewer is reflected and at the same time let them become a part of the object. With this technique, the image can only be perceived from a specific angle. If the viewer change their position, the image dissolves into an abstract chaotic tangle of dots.
The question is: Does the mirror show us reality or just an interpretation of it?
